AISD Family Resource Centers

Engaging Parents, Stabilizing Families to promote Student Achievement
The primary goal of the Austin ISD Family Resource Centers is to help stabilize the families of AISD so students can be in school and ready to learn.

The Family Resource Centers are located on school grounds at each of the current sites. Families can receive support at the centers in five basic areas:
· Housing
· Employment
· Access to healthcare
· Social Connections
· Education

Families and community members from any school may receive assistance and support from the Family Resource Centers.  Support may include direct services, counseling, referrals and application assistance, and adult/parenting education opportunities through the FRC Adult/Parent Academies.

AISD is calling on other community partners and collaborators to support the new FRCs to help us extend their reach.

For more information, please contact the Family Resource Centers.
